Contemporary Western Rusistika

Book series under the imprint of Academic Studies Press (Boston, US) and Bibliorossica (St. Petersburg, Russia)

Contemporary Western Rusistika comprises outstanding scholarly monographs in the field of Russian studies. These volumes, written by leading American and European scholars, are presented in Russian translation for the first time. The series mission is to provide Russian readers with the Western scholarly gaze on Russian history, literature, culture, sociology, politics, and economics. It revives the spirit of its preceding series “Sovremennaia Zapadnaia Rusistika,” previously published throughout the 1990s by Akademicheskii Proekt Publishing House (St. Petersburg, Russia).
