This new book series is dedicated to the histories and cultures of immigrant, émigré, expatriate, and exilic communities. The featured books explore questions of language and translingualism, art and aesthetics, politics and ideology, religion and religious identity, social and artistic mobility and other problems that are central to the rich and contested legacy of people living between worlds.
