Dr. Lorne Tepperman is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Toronto. His work has focused on addictions, social inequalities, and other social problems. He is currently preparing new editions of a textbook on social problems, a textbook on prose writing, and an
introduction to sociology.
Dr. Patrizia Albanese is Associate Dean, Research & Graduate Studies and Professor of Sociology at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is co-editor of Reading Sociology: Unsettling a Settler Colonial Project and other titles. Her work focuses on policies affecting children and families and is lead researcher on a Government of Canada grant on the economic recovery of women in Toronto. Dr. Sasha Stark is Senior Research Lead at GREO, an independent knowledge translation and exchange organization.
Dr. Stark has almost 10 years of experience conducting gambling research, evaluations, and program design in non-profit environments, and engages both Canadian and international stakeholders in gambling and mental health spaces.
Dr. Nadine Reid is a health services and social science researcher currently managing an Evaluation team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Reid also holds adjunct status at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.
